Lauren Urband is a results-oriented strategic communications and marketing professional with nearly 25 years of industry experience. A veteran of some of the most highly regarded PR firms in New York and Los Angeles, Lauren has worked with global brands and start-ups across luxury and mass-market categories, including home and design, contemporary and designer fashion and accessories, travel and hospitality, beauty, tech, publishing, consumer products, and personalities. 

After an established career in New York, Lauren moved to Los Angeles and secured an in-house role as Director of Public Relations and Marketing with legendary interior designer and tastemaker, Kelly Wearstler. Lauren independently handled all press, publicity, and marketing efforts for the designer’s residential and commercial projects and extensive product collections. Additionally, she was credited as a Producer of the designer’s third book, HUE. 

Lauren then returned to her agency roots, and, as a testament to her steadfast relationships with her clients, she continued to work with multiple brands, including Ms. Wearstler, across various teams. Ultimately, Lauren’s entrepreneurial spirit prevailed, and she independently launched The Consultancy PR in 2015. Under her leadership, the agency has grown to a team of nearly 30 individuals across its offices in New York City and Los Angeles.
